Megan Stands for

Inclusion: I'll work to make sure everyone in River Forest has a real voice in village decisions. This means better communication from the village, more ways to get involved, and ensuring all residents feel welcome at community events and board meetings.

Integrity: When you reach out to me about a concern — whether it's about Lake and Lathrop development, traffic safety, or property taxes — you'll get a response and follow-through. I believe in straight talk and real solutions, not empty promises.

Insight: Smart decisions come from good data and real community input. I'll bring my experience with data analysis to help guide village planning while always listening to residents' real-life experiences and concerns.

Leadership that Listens

I'm running for Village Trustee because I believe in making River Forest even better for everyone who calls it home. My experience in our community and my professional background have shown me what works and what we need to improve. You might know me from my work in our village. I served on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Working Group (which won Villager of the Year!), organized the River Forest Pride Walk, and worked with District 90 schools on their equity initiatives. I've rolled up my sleeves to help raise funds for a new playground, murals, and walking track at Lincoln Elementary and supported our teachers at Glasser Preschool. When neighbors were concerned about railroad pollution, I co-founded a group to tackle the issue and presented solutions alongside President Adduci at the DuPage Railroad Safety Council. In my professional life, I bring skills that River Forest needs right now. With my research, statistics, and AI development background, plus years of experience working with school districts, public transportation, and healthcare organizations, I know how to solve complex problems and get things done. Right now, River Forest faces some big decisions. We must think carefully about how we market village owned property and development ready spaces, manage traffic safety and keep taxes in check. These aren't just items on a meeting agenda — they're issues that affect your daily life. What makes River Forest special is how we come together as neighbors to make things better. I've seen it firsthand through years of volunteering here, and I want to bring that same spirit of collaboration to our village government.Your voice matters. Your vote matters.

Let's work together to make River Forest even stronger.
